Effective project management requires a perfect synchronisation of teamwork. Comeval provides this service for large projects with a well-structured organisation chart and extensive experience in successful project management at national and international level.
Below we develop all the phases of the product.
1 – Analysis of project requirements
Commercial Engineering Office:
At Comeval we seek the most efficient, highest quality and cost-effective response for our client. Thus, after a detailed analysis of all the needs of the project, our experienced engineer team will present a personalised proposal considering calculation and sizing criteria, temperatures, fluids, flow rates and, in general, all types of specific conditions of the installation.
This phase is fundamental, as it is here that all the solutions to be provided to the project are evaluated and studied for optimum operability and durability. During this phase, our team will help you to resolve any doubts or clarifications that may arise at a technical, quality or commercial level, being able to focus all these aspects on our sales engineers, allowing a quick and effective response.
2 – Execution phase
Once our proposal has been assessed and accepted, our project team starts the activation of the project. Thereby initiating the whole process of project execution and concluding with the correct delivery of the material within the agreed deadlines and conditions.
– Kick-off meeting with the engineering team:
In this phase, the agreed technical and quality aspects are reconfirmed in a meeting with the client, the communication matrix is provided to the client, and the documentation required for the project is prepared. Likewise, specific instructions are received from the client to adjust to their work procedure for the good development of the project.
– Production control:
Through the project coordination department, we plan all the phases of the process and synchronise the various auxiliary departments to guarantee our commitment to the project. Thus, our project team sends monthly progress reports that allow the client to know the status of the project periodically if desired. Without neglecting the constant and fluid communication that is ensured throughout the process.
– Preparation of the documentation:
Our technical department prepares all the engineering documentation necessary for the implementation of the project:
- o Technical: Drawings, spreadsheets, technical data sheets, operation and maintenance manuals…
- o Quality: Quality plan, inspection point programme, test procedures, certificates…
All documents prepared are submitted to the client for information or approval, with this documentation being exchanged fluidly throughout the process.
Finally, all the validated documentation is compiled in a final dossier that is delivered to the quality team together with the supply of the material.
– Inspection assistance:
When it comes to checking the operability of the products, we follow an Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) in our facilities. In such a way that the client can attend to witness the correct procedure of all the tests carried out and their satisfactory result, as long as he requests it together with the issuing of the order or during the launching meeting, either by his staff or by a third party contracted by him. After these verifications, we issue an approval report, to be signed by the applicant, always ensuring the correct operation of our product and checking that all the documentation is in order.
The following are usually requested:
- o Hydrostatic tests of the product in sizes up to DN2600/104’ and Ratings up to PN420/2500#.
- o Functional tests and verification of closing times in the case of automated valves.
- o Non-destructive testing (NDT): Liquid penetrant, PMI…
The final dossier is compiled based on these inspections.
– Packaging:
Fulfilling all the packaging requirements of the project, we adapt to all conditions always ensuring the highest safety standards during storage and shipping.
Box marking: This is carried out according to the project instructions specified by the client.
3 – Preparation of shipping documentation
– Total adaptability to the format requirements requested by project personnel, whether in terms of coding, protocols or project-specific document templates such as packing lists, monthly progress reports, inspection notifications, packing marks, shipping authorisations, project covers or drawing boxes, among others. We tailor our work to the individual requirements of each project.
In addition, our documentation department, due to its high degree of flexibility, is responsible for the exchange of documentation through the platform used by the client for each project.
– Finally, our logistics team provides photos of the packaging and packing list for the material requested to obtain the release note, thus initiating the coordination with the team requesting the project to carry out the shipment under the agreed conditions.
– We have a specialised export department with the capacity to advise on the documentation required depending on the country of destination, as there are various specific shipping requirements that can be found in certain countries such as Turkey or Saudi Arabia.
After a thorough and calculating process to guarantee success at each and every stage, the project will be ready for delivery anywhere in the world.
