In large reservoirs, butterfly valves perform vital functions for public safety and the management of water resources. This equipment is responsible for precisely regulating the water sent to distribution channels, controlling bottom intakes and managing the drainage systems required to release water in a controlled manner during floods or emergencies. Furthermore, they act as safety isolation devices, allowing sections of pipework to be isolated so that maintenance work can be carried out on the dam without interrupting the general water supply.

Double-eccentric technology

Our range of double-flanged, double-eccentric butterfly valves reliably meets these stringent requirements. Their double-eccentricity design offsets the axis of rotation relative to the seat, which drastically reduces friction during opening and closing.
