The HTF, is heated in HTF boiler packages fed by fossil or renewable power. HTF as heating fluid is featured by some thermodynamic advantages over steam namely its high heat transfer capacity at liquid estate, lower pressurization of the system, and lower wearing out of valves trim by corrosion.
