Air valves ensure the reliable operation of water duct systems by draining the air pockets during working conditions as well as air outlet and inlet of large water volume during pipe filling and draining. Air valves are usually installed at the high points of the pipe lay out and require an inlet isolation valve on a Tee to ease the eventual maintenance.
