Isolating valves and heat transfer fluids increase the thermal efficiency up to 35% in comparison to a conventionally nude valve or equipment. Heat tracing and / or rigid aluminum hoods are sometimes used along pipework leaving other equipment without such a thermal protection. Isolating and removable covers are easy to maintain and offer a long life plant span.
