ATHENA can work with no pressure and reduces the complexity of piping and hydraulic circuits, and the risk of unwanted surges.<\/p>\n<p>We would like to analyze in this post some key factors to consider for the proper installation, like:<\/p>\n<p>-Isolation valves should be fitted for the maintenance<br \/>\n-If the valve is being installed in a frost prone area make sure to prevent it by protecting the body or specify in the order, as CSA ATHENA option, an anti-frost device<br \/>\n-Ensure the weight of the valve is supported to prevent stress on the pipeline<br \/>\n-Should the valve be fitted to a critical supply line, install a by-pass<br \/>\n-Make sure to avoid excess in pressure to avoid cavitation and vibration phenomena, use the cavitation charts and information available on the tech data sheet or consult with CSA.
