The core of the System is a valve type XLC 380\/480. To avoid problems resulting from pressure surge upon closure depending on the location, fluid velocity, differential pressure a VSM or VRCA pressure relief valve installed upstream is recommended, along with a pressure sustaining valve XLC 420 or VSM on the by-pass line for the maintenance operations.
