]]> Water scarcity and extreme drought are no longer future threats; they are critical challenges of the present that demand immediate industrial responses. In this context of climate emergency, desalination plants play a vital role in ensuring the supply of fresh water. Recently, at Comeval Valve Systems, we demonstrated our service and response capabilities by taking on a major challenge: the express delivery of 95 butterfly valves for a key desalination project in Italy.

Thanks to the optimization of our supply chain and the agility of our engineering team, we were able to manufacture, assemble, and deliver the entire order in just 6 and a half weeks. Cutting-Edge Engineering for Harsh Marine Environments

The success of this project lies not only in speed but also in the high technical specifications of the equipment supplied, designed to withstand the most corrosive seawater conditions:

Concentric configuration: 95 units in both Wafer and Lug versions, ensuring perfect sealing and optimal hydraulic performance.
Super Duplex Steel Discs: The ideal material for combating the severe pitting and crevice corrosion typical of high-salinity seawater.
Extreme surface protection: Valves coated with a special paint approved for marine environments, ensuring a long service life when exposed to the elements.
Integrated automation: Equipped with high-precision pneumatic actuators and limit switches for safe and efficient remote control from the plant’s control room.
