This System combines both pilot functions through a control valve type XLC 331/431. An orifice plate assembly needs to be located 5 x DN downstream of the valve and before any change in direction, slope and cause of turbulence in the fluid. The sectioning gate valves and by-pass, with direct acting pressure control valves are very important for maintenance operations. FOX 3F AS are recommended for air release and commissioning as well as pressure relief valve VSM to prevent rise in pressure on the line.
